About
Scorodophloeus fischeri is a large tree, reaching 6-25 metres in height, characterised by a straight trunk and a dense, spreading crown. It produces small, yellow, honey-scented flowers with five petals, followed by small, dark brown, oval seeds. This species is found in lowland dry evergreen and riverine forests, as well as wooded grasslands, across Eastern tropical Africa, including coastal Kenya.
