A species of the genus Psydrax, native to Africa. A type specimen was collected in the Tana River District of Kenya at an altitude of 50 feet (approximately 15 metres).

Where it works in Kilifi

Based on its collection from the Tana River District at 50 feet elevation, this species is suited for restoration and landscaping in coastal lowland environments of Kilifi, likely preferring open to semi-shaded positions.
