About
This indigenous shrub or tree can reach up to 10 metres in height and features greyish bark. Its glabrous leaves grow up to 30 by 13 cm. It produces white flowers in lax panicles, distinguished by a long corolla tube measuring 11 to 16 cm.
Where it works in Kilifi
Thriving in moist forest conditions, this species is suitable for shaded areas within a Kilifi-coast garden or landscape, particularly for restoration projects in lowland forest habitats. Its potential size makes it a good specimen tree or for creating shade.

Adapted to warm, frost-free, moist environments, this species requires consistent watering once established. It is suitable for planting in sheltered, shaded spots.
