About
This evergreen shrub features shiny, dark green, elliptic leaves with a distinct drip tip. It produces one to nine white flowers, each with a long greenish corolla tube that can reach up to 11 cm. The species is typically found growing in the understorey of evergreen forests and bushlands.
Where it works in Kilifi
Native to the coastal bushlands and forest understoreys of Kenya, this shrub is well-suited for planting in shaded or semi-shaded areas within a Kilifi garden. It can effectively be used as an understorey plant or as part of a native hedge.
