About

Maerua macrantha is a species native to northeastern tropical Africa, found in Kenya, Ethiopia, and Somalia. It is characterised by thick, fleshy to leathery, broadly elliptic leaf blades. Its flowers feature oblanceolate to elliptic petals, measuring 3-11 mm long, and it produces distinctive toroulose fruits with seeds often arranged in two to four rows.
