About
Grewia rothii is a shrub or small tree, featuring ovate-oblong to ovate-lanceolate leaves, 3–16.5 cm long, with serrulate margins and a densely tomentose underside. It produces small, yellowish, bisexual flowers in axillary clustered cymes from April to October. These are followed by edible, globose, tomentose drupes, about 5 mm in diameter, which ripen from June to December.
