Grevea eggelingii var. keniensis is a shrub found in the coastal region of Kenya. It features ovate-elliptic leaf-blades, 7–19 cm long and 3–8 cm wide, with a prominently narrowly acuminate apex and cuneate base, and distinctly hairy buds. The plant produces woody, ovoid capsule fruits.
Where it works in Kilifi
This shrub is native to the coastal forests of Kenya, including Kilifi, and thrives in variable habitats, particularly riverine thickets. It is suitable for ecological restoration projects in coastal areas.
