About
This liana, which can also grow as a shrub, is endemic to Kenya's coastal forests. It is typically found in evergreen forest ecosystems, specifically thriving on limestone outcrops at elevations between 200 and 220 metres above sea level.
Where it works in Kilifi
Ideal for coastal forest restoration in Kilifi, particularly on limestone soils. It can be planted to climb existing trees or as a spreading shrub in shaded to semi-shaded understory conditions.
