About
This species is a shrub or small evergreen tree native to Africa, capable of reaching up to 15 metres in height. It is characterised by its leathery, dark green leaves and small, fragrant white flowers. It typically grows on rocky hillsides and in evergreen bushland. The wood is utilised for furniture and other timber products, and the tree is also valued as an ornamental plant.

Suitable for Kilifi-coast gardens, particularly on rocky hillsides or in evergreen bushland settings. It thrives in well-drained, moist, acidic soils and can be planted in full sun to partial shade as an ornamental specimen or for restoration efforts.
