About
This herb is naturally found in tall grasslands on cotton soil in Kenya, typically at elevations between 25 and 200 metres. Like other plants in its genus, it generally has opposite leaves. It produces flowers from either terminal or axillary inflorescences.
Where it works in Kilifi
This herb is well-suited for a Kilifi-coast garden or landscape, thriving in sunny to partially shaded locations. It prefers well-drained, moist soils that are rich in compost. Its natural habitat in grasslands suggests its use in restoration areas or as a groundcover where appropriate.
