About
This branched, shrubby perennial herb or subshrub typically grows 0.25 to 1.5 metres tall. Its young stems are densely velvety, becoming hairless with age, often featuring brownish, peeling bark. The flowers are white, creamy white, or greenish-white, forming in lax to dense terminal clusters, while its leaves are narrowly lanceolate to ovate-oblong, 1.2-6 cm long, and can appear whorled.
Where it works in Kilifi
Agathisanthemum bojeri thrives in full sun and prefers well-drained, sandy soils. It is suitable for sunny spots in a Kilifi-coast garden, ideal as a specimen plant, in mixed borders, or for ecological restoration in grassland and woodland habitats.
Growing notes
