About

Ficus faulkneriana is a terrestrial tree, occasionally hemi-epiphytic, growing up to 30 metres tall, native to coastal Kenya and Tanzania. It features a sturdy trunk, spreading canopy, and sub-coriaceous, elliptic to obovate leaves measuring 1.5–7 cm long. This fig produces small, depressed-globose figs in pairs, which ripen to a reddish colour, providing food for local wildlife in coastal bushland and savanna woodland.
